Terrapins Travel to Compete in ITA Regional Championships


COLLEGE PARK, MD — The University of Maryland Womens Tennis Team will compete in the ITA Regional Championships in Charlottesvile, VA from Thursday, Oct. 17 to Tuesday, Oct. 22. 

The Terrapins last competed at the Martha Thorn Invitational, see the full fall schedule here.

The Terrapins will be represented at the tournament by Diya Challa, Aida Eissa, Tamari Gagoshidze, Danielle Hack, Katherine Hung, Ema Kovacevic, Kallista Liu and Oliwia Orlinska.

Challa, Eissa, Gagoshidze, Hung, Kovacevic and Orlinska last competed at the Martha Thorn Invitational. Challa went 1-2 in singles and 3-0 in doubles.  Eissa went 2-1 in singles and 3-0 in doubles. Gagoshidze went 2-1 in singles and 2-1 in doubles. Hung went 1-2 in singles and 2-1 in doubles. Kovacevic went 0-2 in singles and 3-0 in doubles and Orlinska went 1-2 in singles and 3-0 in doubles.

Liu and Hack last competed in the ITA All-American Championships. Liu went 4-1 and Hack went 0-2 in singles play.
