HANOVER, N.H. – The Rutgers women’s tennis team completed the third and final day of Dartmouth’s Big Green Invitational on Sunday afternoon.
The Scarlet Knights took home one doubles and three singles wins against opponents from Yale and Dartmouth to in turn, end the tournament with a total of six doubles and 11 singles victories.
Doubles
Amira Badawi and Chloe Brown completed a perfect weekend together, earning a win over Yale to go 3-0 in doubles. With another win on the first day of the tournament with partner Daira Cardenas, Badawi picked up four doubles wins throughout the weekend to go undefeated.
Singles
Badawi continued her success into singles action, securing a straight-set win over Yale, 6-4, 6-2. Minchae Kim also followed up with another strong victory over the Bulldogs (6-3, 6-2).
To finish off the day, Mai Nguyen secured a win over Dartmouth, 7-6 (4), 6-2.
