Fairleigh Dickinson

EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. — The Rutgers tennis team (6-1) earned two wins in its doubleheader on Friday, Feb. 10 with a 6-1 victory over Seton Hall (2-3) and a 4-0 sweep of LIU (3-2).

The Scarlet Knights won the doubles point in both matches in addition to eight singles wins.

“I am very proud of the physical and mental effort that this group gave,” said head coach Hilary Ritchie. “What I love about these types of wins are all eight players were involved and everyone was competing hard and supporting one another. I think it puts us in a really good position leading up to our match on Sunday but also the following week.”
