Davis, is a five-star recruit according to Tennisrecruiting.net and ranked in the Top 50 in the Class of 2023.  She is rated as the No. 1 recruit in the state of Georgia and is ranked No. 12 in the Southeast Region.  She gained extensive international experience competing on the Junior ITF Circuit and is ranked in the Top 500 in the world in ITF Juniors.  She reached the semi-finals in San Jose, Costa Rica, the quarterfinals in Cancun, Mexico and third round in Guadalajara, Mexico. In doubles, she reached the semi-finals in San Jose and the quarterfinals in both Cancun and Corpus Christi, Texas.

“I would like to welcome Germany Davis to the Cardinal Athletics family. Germany is a 5-Star recruit and is ranked as the 47th highest recruit in the country on Tennisrecruiting.net. Germany is the type of player that I like to bring to the team because she is trending up,” said Beckham.  “Over the last few years she has made a huge jump in the rankings which means her best tennis is still in front of her. She also brings a style of play that I want more of on my team, which is making a lot of balls. She is very athletic and uses her speed to bring back shots that would be winners against most players and she uses that to put pressure on her opponents. She is also a high character person that comes from an amazing family, so I am more than excited to have Germany join our program. We are very fortunate that she chose to be a Cardinal.”

Ibifuro comes to Louisville from Houston where she was a Texas Grand Slam champion in doubles and doubles L3 champion. She was named a Dominant Duo Champion and earned a Top 50 National Ranks in 16s. She is ranked 12th in the state of Texas, 14th in the Gulf States and 99th nationally.

“I am excited to announce the signing of Ibifuro Clement,” said Beckham. “Ibifuro is someone I followed for about two years and she impressed me every time I saw her play. She has a huge game and will be able to play with anyone in the country once she is in our program. She has the physical strength to impact our line-up in singles and doubles from the moment she gets to campus. She…
