East Lansing, Mich. – Michigan State women’s tennis returns to the courts this weekend, heading to Toledo, Ohio to compete in the Toledo Rocket Invitational.
This is the first full-team tournament of the Fall season. The Green & White is set to face off against host Toledo, along with Youngstown State and DePaul. All four teams will square off with each other in singles and doubles action, with matches slated for the UT Varsity Tennis Courts, with play shifting to Twos Athletic Club in case of inclement weather.
Action kicks off on Friday, September 27 at 10 a.m. with doubles matches against Youngstown State. These matches are followed by singles matches versus Toledo and Youngstown State.
The tournament continues on Saturday, September 28 with doubles matches versus DePaul and Toledo starting out the day beginning at 10 a.m. Action concludes with singles matches against DePaul on Saturday afternoon.
After this tournament, the Spartans return home to prepare for the ITA Midwest Regional Championships set in Columbus, Ohio.
