CLEMSON, S.C. – Amelie Smejkalova is set to compete at the International Tennis Federation Hilton Head W35 from Oct. 21-27 in Hilton Head, S.C. The event will not have a live stream, but draws and results can be found on the ITF Website.
“It’s great when our players get the opportunity to play in major events like Hilton Head,” Head Coach Boomer Saia said. “I know she’s excited for the tournament and to battle against some of the best players in the world.”
Smejkalova is coming off a great run at the ITA Carolina Regional Championships, where she had multiple impressive wins. In an impressive comeback after losing the first set 3-6, she took down No. 49 Katie Codd from Duke. She continued by winning in an epic 7-6(3), 6-2 battle and securing the win in the round of 32.
