Sinner on the Move Again

Sinner, who walloped Grigor Dimitrov 6-3, 6-1 in Sunday’s Miami final, continues his push up the rankings by passing Carlos Alcaraz and moving into the No.2 spot. He’s also way ahead in the Race to Turin, leading Daniil Medvedev by 1350 points.

Sinner dropped just 13 games across his final three rounds at Miami, where he became the first Italian man to win the title and to own multiple Masters 1000 titles – it’s his 13th title overall.

Dimitrov Back in the Top 10

Dimitrov, who earned three Top 10 and two Top 5 wins at Miami en route to his third Masters 1000 final, makes his return to the Top 10 for the first time in 260 weeks, since November of 2018, rising three spots to No.9.

The former World No.3 is 20-5 on the season so far. He won his first title since 2017 at Brisbane in January.

Machac Pops to 43, Marozsan 38

Big props to Hungary’s Fabian Marozsan, who reached his second Masters 1000 quarterfinal at Miami, and rises 19 spots to make his Top 50 debut at No.38. The 24-year-old has been lights out at Masters 1000 events so far in his career. He has played four main draws at the 1000 level, and won 14 of 18 matches in them.

Tomas Machac of the Czech Republic also makes his Top 50 debut this week. He rises 17 spots from No.60 to No.43. The 23-year-old also reached the quarterfinals at Miami, before falling to Jannik Sinner.
