COLUMBUS, Ohio — Four Wolverines completed action at the Buckeye Invitational on Sunday (Oct. 16), with U-M going undefeated in singles matches (12-0) and picking up a pair of doubles wins at the Ty Tucker Tennis Center over the course of the three-day event.

Gala Mesochoritou, Lily Jones, Nicole Hammond and Merri Kelly each finished with a 3-0 mark on the singles court. The Wolverines won two doubles matches on the weekend, finishing 2-3 after using four different doubles combinations.

The Wolverines saved their best for last, winning all four singles matches in straight sets on the final day and going 1-0 on the doubles court.

For Mesochoritou, it was her first fall action as she dropped just 10 games across three matches for a perfect 3-0 mark. Hammond was the lone ranked singles player in the field, coming in at No. 113, as she racked up a 3-0 record of her own. Jones pushed her singles record on the season to 6-2 behind a perfect weekend, with Kelly running her winning streak to five straight matches.

Michigan is back in action later this week, hosting the ITA Midwest Regional Championships at the Varsity Tennis Center from Thursday through Tuesday (Oct. 20-25) and admission is free.
