It’s been about a year since Serena Williams retired from her legendary professional tennis career, and her post-tennis life already has some exciting developments.
On Tuesday, Williams and husband, Alexis Ohanian, announced the birth of their second daughter, sharing that her name is Adira River. Adira’s sister, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr., was born back in 2017 after Serena overcame life-threatening complications with the pregnancy.
The couple made the announcement with a pair of social media posts. Alexis made the announcement on Twitter while Serena shared a video with her family and newborn daughter on TikTok along with the caption, “Welcome my beautiful angel.”
