ORLANDO, Fla. – The University of Notre Dame women’s tennis program had three student-athletes competing at the NCAA Championship Tournament in Orlando earlier this week. The Fighting Irish saw Page Freeman take the court in the second round of the singles competition, as Julia Andreach and Carrie Beckman teamed up in the opening round of the doubles event.
Freeman fell in her matchup with the 45th ranked player in the country, Florida’s Carly Briggs, 6-2, 6-2. Andreach and Beckman took on South Carolina’s 33rd ranked tandem of Ayana Akli and Sarah Hamner, falling 6-2, 6-3. The losses conclude the 2022-23 season for Irish women’s tennis.
