Four spots have been clinched for this year’s Nitto ATP Finals field in Turin, Casper Ruud and 2019 champion Stefanos Tsitsipas punched their tickets this week.
Ruud and Tsitsipas join debutant Carlos Alcaraz and Rafael Nadal in this year’s field, with four spots left to claim.
Ruud, who fell to Yoshihito Nishioka in quarterfinal action at Seoul on Friday, owns a 47-17 record on the season with three titles and two Grand Slam finals to his name.
Tsitsipas is 49-18 on the season with a pair of titles.
The Nitto ATP Finals will take place from Nov 13-20 in Turin, Italy.
2020 champion Daniil Medvedev, Andrey Rublev, Felix Auger-Aliassime and five-time champion Novak Djokovic are the likely players to qualify, but there is still plenty of time to jockey for position for the likes of Hubert Hurkacz, Taylor Fritz, Cameron Norrie and Jannik Sinner.
