TULSA, Okla. – The University of Louisville’s Fabien Salle and Natan Rodrigues advanced to the main draw of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association All-American Championship Tuesday afternoon at the University of Tulsa.
The No. 48-ranked Louisville duo defeated Duke’s Garrett Johns and Pedro Rodenas 6-3, 4-6, 10-2 in the third round of the pre-qualifying draw to move to Wednesday’s main draw.
In single action, No. 84 Salle defeated No. 98 Siem Woldeab (Texas) 6-1 in the first set, but fell 6-1, 6-0 in the next two sets.
The Cardinals will continue play on Wednesday when Etienne Donnet takes the court in singles and while Salle and Rodrigues compete in doubles.
