WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The Purdue men’s tennis team is set to open the Geoff Young era at the ITA Ohio Valley Regional, hosted by Louisville. The Boilermakers will compete in the annual regional event with hopes to earn a bid to the ITA Fall National Championships.
Six of the seven Boilermakers roster will head to Louisville for singles and doubles matches from Thursday to Monday against 22 different teams.
Coach Young and the Boilermakers have spent the early stages of the fall season establishing a new identity during practice. Purdue’s roster features five returners, including a trio of seniors in Tomasz Dudek, Michal Wozniak and Sebastian Welch. Clemson transfer Daniel Labrador has added some veteran experience, while freshman Mujtaba Ali-Khan will look to build on a strong finish to his prep career, which included the singles title at the ITF J5 event in Islamabad, Pakistan.
