MEN’S TENNIS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Arthur Fery, Jr., Stanford (Wimbledon, U.K.)

• Played at the No. 1 position against No. 4 Michigan, No. 11 Tennessee and No. 9 Wake Forest, drawing singles and doubles wins against Michigan and Wake Forest.
• Beat the No. 6 doubles team of Michigan State, despite a team loss.
• Earned a singles and doubles win against No. 7 Andrew Fenty of Michigan State.
• Helped the Cardinal to a top-10 win against Wake Forest with a singles and doubles win.

WOMEN’S TENNIS PLAYERS OF THE WEEK: Ares Teixido Garcia, Jr., Oregon (Lleida, Spain)

• After weekend matches against Boise State and Fresno State, Garcia extended her singles winning streak to five consecutive matches and her doubles streak to seven consecutive wins. 
• With partner Jo-Yee Chan, Garcia continued their season shutout streak of 7-0, including a 6-0 sweep of Fresno State’s Safi and Vyshkina.
• Earned three other wins on the weekend (two singles, one doubles).
