Carl Emil Overbeck concluded a strong first half of the season – which included a run at the ITA All-American Championships – by winning the singles crown at the Jack Kramer Invite.
ROLLING HILLS ESTATES – Carl Emil Overbeck completed a strong first half of the season when the California men’s tennis junior captured the singles title Sunday at the Jack Kramer Invitational. The Golden Bears also concluded play in the Ralston/Neufeld Coaches Challenge on Sunday in Dallas.
The top-seeded Overbeck defeated USC’s third-seeded Karl lee, 6-4, 6-7(4), 6-3, in the final at the Jack Kramer Club.
