Syracuse Tennis had yet another successful day as the squad wrapped up the final day of the ITA Northeast Regionals, which took place on the Campus of Dartmouth College.
The doubles pair of Ines Fonte and Viktoriya Kanapatskaya captured the doubles title, winning the match 8-6 and qualifying for the ITA Super Regionals.
In singles play, Zeynep Erman emerged victorious 6-3, 6-4, and Shiori Ito also captured a victory in a 6-3, 6-4 battle. Erman and Ito both qualified in singles for the ITA Super Regionals.
‘Cuse will be back in action on Wednesday, Oct 5th at the ITA Women’s All-American championships before heading off to the ITA Northeast Super Regionals on Friday, Oct. 21st.
