CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Fighting Illini will continue their 2024 fall slate in South Bend, Ind., with the Notre Dame Invite, which will start Friday and run through Sunday. Illinois will be well-represented at the competition, with nearly its entire roster set to compete: Kida Ferrari, Ariel Madatali, Violeta Martinez, McKenna Schaefbauer, Rosie Seccia, Kasia Treiber, and Alice Xu.
The Orange and Blue will take part in both singles and doubles play during the three-day event. Columbia, Michigan, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and Tulane will also send student-athletes to compete at the Notre Dame Invite this weekend.
Illinois will face student-athletes from Tulane on Friday before squaring off with representatives from Michigan and Ohio State on Saturday. The final day of action will be Sunday, when the Illini take on Columbia.
The Illini’s seven student-athletes who will make the trip to South Bend will all compete in their second tournament of the fall. Ferrari, Madatali, Martinez, and Seccia all played at the H-E-B Invite, while Schaefbauer, Treiber, and Xu began their fall slate at the ITA All-American Championships.

Friday at 10 a.m. CT: Illinois vs. Tulane
Saturday at 9 a.m. CT: Illinois vs. Ohio State/Michigan
Sunday at 8 a.m. CT: Illinois vs. Columbia
