No. 25 Wisconsin falls to No. 10 Texas


AUSTIN, Tex. – The No. 25 Wisconsin women’s tennis team faced Texas on Saturday, Feb. 3. The Badgers dropped to the Longhorns, 7-0. 

In tough doubles matches, Wisconsin duos fought hard but the point eventually went to Texas, 2-0. 

On the singles court, Taylor Cataldi battled through her match with both sets ending in tiebreaks. Xinyu Cai attempted to rally back from a 6-1 score in the first set, but ultimately fell to Malaika Rapolu in the second set, 7-5

Pachkaleva def. Jacobson, 7-5, 6-0

Ovrootsky def. Johnson, 7-5, 6-2
