No. 24 USC Women’s Tennis Heads to Texas For Dual Against Top Ranked Longhorns

The No. 24 ranked USC women’s tennis team continues the 2023 season with a trip to the Lone Star State for a Saturday 1 p.m. CT indoor dual against No. 1 Texas.

RANKINGS
USC boasts five Trojans in the national singles rankings with freshman Madison Sieg leading USC at No. 2 after going 10-1 in the fall. Trojan redshirt sophomore Snow Han locked in the No. 17 ranking, while senior Eryn Cayetano secured the No. 24 rank. Freshman Emma Charney checks in at No. 83 while junior Naomi Cheong sits at No. 96.
 
The Women of Troy also boast a ranked doubles pair of Maddy Sieg and Eryn Cayetano, who hold the No. 20 rank. 
 
SCOUTING TEXAS
The top ranked Longhorns are 5-0 on the season and punched their ticket to the ITA National Team Indoor Championship over the weekend. Texas boasts two ranked singles players – No. 85 Malaika Rapolu and No. 87 Marlee Zein. Currently the No. 1 ranked team in the country, the Longhorns are the defending NCAA Champions.
