BLOOMINGTON, Ill. – No. 22-ranked Fighting Illini tennis men’s (14-8) swept Indiana (11-8), 4-0, on Sunday afternoon at IU Tennis Center in Bloomington, Ind.
“This was a great weekend overall,” assistant coach Tim Kopinski said. “It was super to finish our first Big Ten road trip with two wins. The guys did a great job concentrating and taking care of their matches.”
Dynamic duo Hunter Heck and Karlis Ozolins quickly finished their doubles match , 6-2, over Ekansh Kumar and Luka Vukovic.
New pairing Lucas Horve and Mathis Debru clinched the doubles point for the Illini with a 6-3 win over Jagger Saylor and Patrick Fletchall.
Heck made quick work with Ilya Tiraspolsky in singles play, winning, 6-1, 6-1. Ozolins followed suit, defeating Fletchall, 6-2, 6-3.
William Mroz clinched the match shortly after with a 6-0, 6-1 win against Saylor.

The Illini will travel up to Evanston, Ill. for a match against No. 24 Northwestern on April 8 at 12 p.m. CT.
