SCOUTING TECH – The Yellow Jackets look to conclude regular season action on a high note this weekend, coming off a 5-2 victory at Clemson last weekend to round out its road slate. Rosie Garcia Gross clinched the victory from the No. 5 singles position. With the win, Tech moved back into the top 20 nationally in the latest ITA rankings, coming in at No. 20. The Jackets have won two-straight and look to extend their winning streak. On Sunday, prior to first serve, Tech will recognize its two seniors, Monika Dedaj and Rosie Garcia Gross, prior to their final regular season home match.
SCOUTING FLORIDA STATE – The Seminoles come into Friday’s match on a three-match win streak, having defeated Florida A&M, Louisville and Notre Dame. FSU closes out play on Sunday at Clemson. Two Seminoles boast double-figure dual match singles victories this season, led by Vic Allen with a 14-5 dual mark. Allen also leads FSU in conference play with an 8-3 singles record, including a 9-2 mark at the No. 2 position.
SCOUTING MIAMI: The Hurricanes concluded home action collecting victories over Notre Dame and Louisville and will visit Clemson on Friday before coming to Atlanta on Sunday. Miami has dropped only three ACC matches this season, falling to North Carolina, Duke and Syracuse, all on the road. The Hurricanes are led by No. 8 Alexa Noel at the No. 1 singles position. Noel owns a 15-3 dual singles record, including a 10-1 ACC mark, all at the top spot.
