No. 20 Florida Welcomes North Florida Tuesday

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Before playing their second consecutive weekend against two top-10 SEC foes, the No. 20 Florida Gators hosts North Florida on Tuesday evening to round out the non-conference schedule. First serve is set for 5 p.m. at the Alfred A. Ring Tennis Complex.

Tuesday night marks the first meeting between the Gators (12-10, 5-5 SEC) and Ospreys (14-5, 7-1 ASUN) since the first round of the 2016 NCAA Tournament in Gainesville on May 14. Florida won the match 4-0 and improved to 3-0 in the all-time series.

LAST TIME AGAINST THE ASUN
Florida hosted Eastern Kentucky in their first meeting since 1967 for a midweek doubleheader on Wednesday, April 5 and won both matches, 4-0. In North Florida’s conference match against EKU, the Ospreys won 6-1.

NON-CON RESUME
The Gators hold a 7-5 against non-conference opponents this regular season and seven of the 12 have come against top-20 ranked-teams. When facing unranked opponents, Florida is 5-0.
