GAINESVILLE, Fla. – After taking down the No. 12 Florida State Seminoles on Thursday night for College MatchDay, the No. 15 Florida men’s tennis team will look to continue their success at the USTA National Campus in the SEC/Pac-12 Challenge.
The Gators will play No. 7 USC Saturday at 2 p.m. and follow with No. 16 Stanford Sunday at 11 a.m. The last time Florida met the two Pac-12 teams was during the 2019 season at the ITA National Team Indoor Championships in Chicago, Ill and fell to USC, 4-3, and Stanford, 4-1.
The win over the No. 12 FSU was the Gators first ranked win of the season and this will be the first time Florida has played three Top-20 teams in a four-day span since the 2021 NCAA Tournament run to become National Champions from May 20-22.
After winning their fourth consecutive College MatchDay over FSU, the Gators improved to 2-0 in the 2023 season on the USTA grounds after beating UCF 6-1 on Jan. 21.
