Tiziana-Marie Schomburg closed out Cal’s win with a three-set result at court-six singles.
SAN DIEGO – The 14th-ranked California women’s tennis team defeated host San Diego State, 5-2, on Sunday at the Aztec Tennis Center, with Cal junior Lan Mi clinching the victory at court-five singles.
The Golden Bears improved to 4-2. SDSU is 5-2.
Cal plays again Monday at 1:30 p.m. PT at 18th-ranked UCLA.
