No. 12 Wildcats Keep Huskies In Check

TUCSON, Ariz. – 12th-ranked Arizona controlled things on its home courts and held the 51st-ranked Huskies without a point for the first time all season today. Arizona won the match, 4-0, as the Huskies fell to 10-8 overall and 1-3 in the Pac-12 this season.

The Dawgs had been competitive in every single match this season, never scoring fewer than two points, but Arizona improved to 5-1 in conference and 19-4 overall, winning the doubles point and then posting straight set singles wins at No. 2, No. 5, and No. 6, with the remaining three matches all going unfinished, though Arizona was up a set in those matches as well.

The Huskies will continue the Pac-12 grind next week in Los Angeles, taking on UCLA first on Friday, Apr. 14, then visiting USC the following day.
