The doubles duo won the doubles title at the ITA Southeast Regional Championships on Sunday morning.
The duo battled against No. 2 Freddy Blaydes/Niels Ratiu (Georgia) and secured a straight set victory. Nirundorn/Jefferson outlasted the Georgia pair in a hard fought first set claiming a 7-5 victory. Nirundorn/Jefferson pulled off two upset wins in the tournament – against No. 33 Thomas Paulsell/Ryan Colby (Georgia) in the quarterfinals and No. 2 Blaydes/Ratiu (Georgia) in the finals – to secure the title. This was the second tournament the pair competed in as a team.
Jefferson also made a run in the singles consolation tournament, advancing to the semifinals before falling to Nacho Serra Sanchez (Georgia) 4-6, 4-6.
