Historic Host Assignment – The 2022-23 season has been another addition to the history books of Arizona Men’s Tennis. The Wildcat clinched a share of the regular season Pac-12 title after winning it outright in 2021-22. The program has now won back-to-back Pac-12 championships after competing in the league for 43 seasons without a title. With NCAA Regionals being played at the LaNelle Robson Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Arizona this weekend, the Wildcats are hosting the NCAA Tournament for the first time in program history. Tickets for fans attending the match at Robson Tennis Center are just $5.

Familiar Foe – There is plenty of familiarity between the Arizona and Boise State tennis programs. The Broncos are coached by Luke Shields who is the brother of Arizona head coach Clancy Shields. The Shields brothers were tennis teammates at Boise State in the late 2000’s.

All-Conference Cats – A quarter of Wildcats took home all-Pac-12 honors this season. Jonas Ziverts, Gustaf Strom and Colton Smith were all First Team All-Pac-12 selections while Herman Hoeyeraal earned Second Team All-Pac-12 honors. Ziverts was also named the Pac-12 Men’s Tennis Scholar-Athlete of the Year in April.
