The win was the fourth of Rajesh’s career over a ranked foe.

Anders Matta saw his first action of the season, falling in a pair of doubles matches to No. 43 Sebastian Gorzny (TCU) and Alex Chang (California). Matta and Rajesh formed a tandem in doubles, but dropped their opening match in a tiebreaker, 8-7 (1), to TCU’s duo of Lui Maxted and Jack Pinnington.
