Men's Tennis Set for Big 12/SEC Challenge


WACO, Texas – Arizona Men’s Tennis is sending four players to the third annual Big 12/SEC Challenge hosted by Baylor this weekend from Oct. 4-6. 

Representing the Big 12 will be Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech, and representing the SEC will be Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Texas and Texas A&M. 

Wearing red and blue this weekend will be Arizona freshmen Zoran Ludoski and Filip Gustafsson alongside seniors Casper Christensen and Iñaki Cabrera-Bello. 

The Cats will match up against Florida for doubles play. Ludoski and Gustafsson will be paired together, facing off against Henry Jefferson and Tanapatt Nirundorn. Christensen and Cabrera-Bello are set to face off against Magnus Johnson and Kevin Edengren. 

In singles play, the Cats will go head to head with Texas. Ludoski will compete against #46 Pierre-Yves, Gustafsson against #124 Lucas Brown, Christensen against Timo Legout and Cabrera-Bello against Evan Burnett. 

Singles will begin at 10 a.m. MST and doubles at 11 a.m. MST. All results and draws can be found on the tournament site.
