“We are excited to announce the signings of Pablo, Roh, Jack, and Cayden,” head coach Scott Brown said. “Not only are all four of them quality tennis players, but more importantly they are quality human beings that align with the cornerstones of our program’s culture.”
Gomez is set to join the Dores in January and will be immediately eligible for competition. From Murcia, Spain, he climbed to No. 43 in the Spanish men’s rankings and reached a career high No. 72 in the ITF world junior rankings. Gomez has also posted a best No. 1450 in the ATP Tour singles rankings.

He is the highest ranked recruit the program has signed, and one of the highest ranked recruits across all of Vanderbilt athletics. The South Korea native possesses a 13.30 UTR and has competed in all four junior Grand Slams. Hoyoung also has multiple tournament wins just this year: he captured titles in singles and doubles at J300 Wanju, singles at J500 Osaka and J300 Porto Alegre, and doubles at J300 Beijing, J300 Charleroi-Marcinelle, J300 Porto Alegre, and J300 Asuncion.
