UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – Penn State men’s tennis junior Miko Eala earned Academic All-District honors, announced by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday.
Eala currently owns a 3.81 GPA as a finance major. He earned Academic All-Big Ten and Big Ten Distinguished Scholar honors in 2022. He helped the Nittany Lions to 15 wins this season.
The junior was recently named second-team All-Big Ten. He recorded a 21-10 overall record in singles in 2022-23, including 18-6 in dual matches while playing at the No. 2 and No. 3 positions. Eala was 5-1 in Big Ten matches. He won six straight matches to begin the Spring.
In doubles, Eala notched a 12-11 mark, including 11-6 in dual matches and three wins against Big Ten opponents. He played at the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles spots.
In his Nittany Lion career, Eala owns 48 singles wins, including 38 in dual matches. He has posted 33 doubles wins, including 26 in dual matches.
