Members of the University of North Carolina men’s tennis team will head to Oklahoma this weekend to take part in the ITA All-American Championships, scheduled for September 30 through October 8. The event will be held at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Tulsa and Case Tennis Center at LaFortune Park in Tulsa, Okla.
Tar Heel graduate students Karl Poling and Anuj Watane will be part of the 128-player Qualifying Singles draw, which includes 112 automatic qualifiers, at-large picks and wild cards, based on region and preseason rankings, as well as 16 qualifiers.
Carolina’s Peter Murphy and Will Peters, a graduate transfer from Princeton, will take part in the 256-player Pre-Qualifying Singles draw, which is based on preseason national rankings.
