Men's Tennis Concludes Regional Play – Men's Tennis — Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech has concluded play at the ITA Southeast Regionals.   

Freshman Richard Biagiotti (Lunderskov, Denmark) had a great run throughout the regional tournament, making it to the singles quarterfinal round and the doubles semifinal round. Biagiotti would fall to Georgia’s Miguel Perez Pena in identical (6-3) sets in the singles quarterfinal round. 

Junior Gabriele Brancatelli (Florence, Italy) and Biagiotti had an electrifying match against Miami’s Nacho Serra Sanchez and Yannik Rahman securing a (6-1,6-1) victory securing a spot in the doubles semifinals. In the semifinal round, the duo would fall to UCF’s Lleyton Cronje and Santiago Giamichelle.  

The Southeast tournament concludes tomorrow Monday, Oct. 16 with the singles semifinal and final round. 

UP NEXT:  

Georgia Tech will be on the road as they will travel to Nashville, Tennessee for the Black & Gold Invitational Oct. 27-29.
