Men's Tennis Central: SEC/Big 12 Challenge


STILLWATER, Okla.  Three Vols will represent Tennessee and the Southeastern Conference at the SEC/Big 12 Challenge, hosted by Oklahoma State at Greenwood Tennis Center, running Sept. 22-24. 
 

Members of Alabama, Tennessee and Texas A&M will go head-to-head against members of Baylor, Oklahoma State and Texas Tech in a three-day event consisting of singles and doubles competition.
 
No. 66 Shunsuke Mitsui, Chris Li and James Newton will be donning the orange and white this weekend. Mitsui is slated to compete in his first collegiate event of the year, while Li and Newton are coming off a solid weekend at the Wake Forest Invitational, notching singles records of 3-1 and 2-1, respectively.

Next Up
The Vols will travel to Tulsa, Oklahoma, for the annual ITA All-American Championships, running Sept. 30 – Oct. 8 at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
