For outdoor matches at Barksdale Stadium this season, concessions and alcoholic beverages will be sold on the concourse, at the top of the grandstand behind court two. Concessions will only be sold during outdoor matches at Barksdale Stadium and not at matches that are moved indoors to Goodfriend Tennis Center. LAST TIME OUT
At the ITA National Indoor Championship last weekend, Tennessee posted a 2-1 record in Chicago, with a 4-3 win over then-17th-ranked Stanford and a 4-1 trouncing of Illinois.
SCOUTING THE CITADEL
Friday marks the 16th and 17th all-time meetings between Tennessee (8-4) and The Citadel (3-11). The Vols hold an unblemished 15-0 record over the Bulldogs in a series that dates to 1968. The Citadel is 3-11 this season with a pair of wins in its past four matches.
In the 15 all-time matchups, Tennessee is outscoring The Citadel 105-4, with 12 total shutouts in that span. The teams faced each other in all but one year from 2002-08 and last met in 2020, a 7-0 Tennessee win. Each of the past four matchups between the squads (2018, 2018, 2019, 2020) have been 7-0 Tennessee sweeps.

DIAZ JUST KEEPS WINNING
• Bolstering the bottom of Tennessee’s lineup this spring, Angel Diaz is 8-1 in dual singles matches and 17-7 on the singles courts dating to fall action. He is 6-1 at the No. 6 singles slot and 2-0 when placed fifth in the lineup. One of his wins at the No. 5 spot was his match-clinching victory to hand the Vols a 4-3 win over Stanford in a consolation match at the ITA National Indoor Championship.
