Danill Medvedev has a message for taunting fans.
I am a human being, not your verbal punching bag.

After a “fan” repeatedly ripped Medvedev as “a loser” following his Montreal loss to Nick Kyrgios last week, the world No. 1 confronted the fan. See the incident here courtesy of @dmedvedevfans:
God, how awful can fans be when they chant ‘loser’ to a tennis player after a tough battle on the court 👎🏻Achieve something yourself in this life..

The US Open champion said on or off the court if a fan mocks him, he will respond.
“After the match, [I was] a little bit disappointed, a little bit of adrenaline going up and somebody mocked me,” Medvedev told the media in Cincinnati ahead of his Western & Souther Open opener. “It does not matter after the match, on the tennis tournament, on the street, in my house – if somebody is going to mock me, I am going to respond.”
Asked about the interaction at the Western & Southern Open in Cincinnati, Medvedev said he asked the fan why he was making rude insults and told him it wasn’t right.
“I went to the guy and said: ‘what is your problem? Why are you saying such things?’,” Medvedev said. “And he barely spoke English. “The only bad thing about the situation [was] because then I asked him, ‘come, why you said this?’ and he said, ‘why?’
“And I said, ‘look, you should not do it.’ “There were people around saying that he should apologize. But, in general, it does not matter. The only thing that concerns me a little bit was that his father [was there] and he was saying something to me also.”
