CLEMSON, S.C. — Clemson junior Cristina Mayorova, currently ranked the No. 77 singles player in the nation, and senior Eleni Louka are set to compete at ITA All-Americans in Cary, N.C. beginning on Monday, Oct. 3. Mayorova will begin competition in qualifying on Monday, while Louka competes in pre-qualifying on Saturday.
Last season, Mayorova played mostly from the No. 1 singles position, going 2-2 against nationally ranked opponents and earning a ranking as high as No. 99.
Louka played the majority of her matches from Court 2, going 5-7 there and earning a ranked win in the process. In 2021, she was named to the All-ACC third team.
“We’re excited for Cristina and Eleni to be representing Clemson at the ITA All-American Championships in Cary, NC,” remarked Head Coach Christy Lynch. “Both of them have been working really hard and I know they will give it their all and make the most of the opportunity!”
