Redding, Calif.-The International Tennis Federation hosts the Women’s World Tour Oct.2- Oct.8. Martyna Ostrzygalo traveled up to California to be represented under Canada, being placed into the tournament ranked No. 835 in singles.
Ostrzygalo began her journey against Katja Wiersholm (USA). Although a great matchup Ostrzygalo fell short 7-5, 6-3. She continued onto the next day in a doubles matchup for the main draw with partner Zoe Hitt (USA). Doubles team Kayla Cross (Can) and Maria Fernanda Herazo Gonzalez (Col) bested them 6-1, 6-4. It was an amazing effort by Ostrzygalo.
