U.S. Davis Cup captain Mardy Fish and coach Bob Bryan will pay a price for their gaming promotion.

Fish and Bob Bryan have both been fined $10,000 and issued with suspended bans of four months after admitting the promotion of a gaming operator on social media.
Both Fish and Bob Bryan “co-operated fully with the ITIA investigation and removed the posts immediately,” the International Tennis Integrity Agency announced today.
The suspensions will not be enforced unless there is a further breach during the four-month period, which began on November 11, 2022.
Both had been accredited as part of the US Davis Cup coaching team in 2022, meaning they are considered “covered persons” and subject to the sport’s rules around relationships with betting operators.
Last week, Fabio Fognini and Simone Bolelli scored a 6-4, 6-4 victory over Jack Sock and Tommy Paul to clinch Italy’s 2-1 win over the United States and send the Italians into their first Davis Cup semifinal since 2014.
Captain Fish came under some criticism for his decision to leave two-time defending US Open doubles champion and reigning ATP Finals doubles champion Rajeev Ram off the roster.
