Liu and Hack to Compete in ITA All American Championships


COLLEGE PARK, MD — The University of Maryland women’s tennis team will be competing at the ITA All American Championships in Cary, North Carolina, from Saturday, Sept. 21 to Thursday Sept. 26.

The Terrapins will be represented by senior Kallista Liu and graduate Danielle Hack at the tournament.

Kallista Liu comes into the 2024-25 year off a stellar junior season for the Terps, going 26-10 in singles play and 10-9 in doubles. Liu represented the Terps at the 2023 ITA All American Championships, going 3-1 in singles play.

UMASS transfer Danielle Hack will be representing Maryland for the first time in her career. Hack is coming off a strong senior year, going 21-7 in singles and 17-10 in doubles play.

This will be the Terrapins second competition in their fall slate. The Terps opened their fall season at the Bedford Cup, see the full fall schedule here.
