THE FLATS – Krish Arora has officially signed his National Letter of Intent to join the Georgia Tech men’s tennis team. Arora is from San Jose, Calif. and attends the California Connections Academy.
Arora is ranked No. 21 in the world by UTR for the 16 and under age division. In the nation, he ranks at No. 11 in singles and at No. 2 in doubles for the 16 and under age division.
Arora will arrive on campus as a three-time National Level 2 Champion in doubles. He has also won a National Level 3 title.
Arora is set to graduate high school early and join the men’s tennis program one year earlier than normal.
“Krish is a very talented top national player, and we are excited to get another one of the best players out of California. His desire to learn and improve will be a huge asset for our team moving forward. He has an appreciation for the academic and athletic standard of excellence at Georgia Tech and will excel here,” Byers Men’s Tennis Head Coach Kenny Thorne said.
