TEMPE, Arizona – Sun Devil Men’s Tennis will have eight student-athletes competing in the ASU-hosted ITA Regional taking place October 17-21 at Kiwanis Tennis Center. The first round of singles matches will take place on Thursday, October 17 and will be followed by the opening round of doubles matches on Friday, October 18.
Mikey Anderson, Tanner Povey, Roi Ginat, Nicola Cigna, Constantinos Koshis, Finn Willwerth, Martin Vergara, and Daniel Phillips will all be representing the Maroon & Gold this weekend. Tickets are priced at $10, and the full regional schedule can be found here.
Singles Qualifying Draw: Thursday, October 17:
9:00 a.m.- Daniel Phillips (ASU) vs. Paolo Rosati (GCU)
10:30 a.m.- Finn Willwerth (ASU) vs. Louis Chusseau (SDSU)
*Roi Ginat has a bye in the qualifying draw
Doubles Main Draw: Friday, October 18:
9 a.m.- Tanner Povey/Constantinos Koshis (ASU) vs. Eugenio Gonzalez/Alexander Mandma (SDSU)
9 a.m.- Mikey Anderson/Nico Cigna (ASU) vs. Matthias Kask/Santiago Padilla (Arizona)
9 a.m.- Finn Willwerth/Roi Ginat (ASU) vs. Caden Bell/Lucas Mszyca (UCR)
9 a.m.- Martin Vergara/Daniel Phillips (ASU) vs. Giacomo Revelli/Leonard Von Bismarck (UCLA)
With a win, the singles Round of 32 will take place following the Friday morning doubles matches. Doubles winners play Saturday, October 19 at 10 a.m. in the Round of 32.
