SAN DIEGO – California men’s tennis sophomore Jonathan Irwanto posted singles and doubles victories at the San Diego Veterans Tennis Center on Saturday, the second day of action at the Hogan Tennis Center
Irwanto and freshman Bernardo Munk Mesa defeated Grand Canyon’s Andreas Loizas and Finbar McGarvey 7-5 in doubles, while Irwanto beat GCU’s Brice Patoux in singles 7-5, 6-7(4), 6-3. Cal sophomore Alex Aney also won in singles, besting McGarvey 7-6(1), 6-0.
The San Diego tournament concludes Sunday.
