COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Illinois women’s tennis team sent all eight of its student-athletes to compete at the ITA Midwest Regional in Columbus, Ohio, from Oct. 10-14.
Ariel Madatali and Rosie Seccia began their singles runs in the qualifying draw, while six Fighting Illini representatives – Kida Ferrari, Megan Heuser, Violeta Martinez, McKenna Schaefbauer, Kasia Treiber, and Alice Xu – all started singles play in the main draw.
Illinois was well-represented in the doubles draw, which featured the Illini duos of No. 9 Heuser/Xu, Ferrari/Martinez, Madatali/Seccia, and Schaefbauer/Treiber.
