SEATTLE – The No. 29 Washington women’s tennis team (10-6) will host its first conference matches this weekend at Quillian Tennis Stadium (matches will be in Nordstrom Tennis Center if weather does not permit).
 
The Huskies are looking for their first conference wins this weekend as they lost to USC and UCLA last weekend in Los Angeles.
 
THE COMPETITION – NO. 51 COLORADO
 
The Buffaloes are 12-1 on the season, with their only loss coming at the hands of then-No. 2 Stanford at ITA Kickoff weekend.
 
The Huskies lost 4-3 to Colorado last season en route a 6-4 conference season record in 2023.

THE COMPETITION – NO. 44 UTAH

 

The Utes are 9-3 on the season and are on a five-match win streak, most recently in a 4-2 win against Oregon. Utah will play Washington State on March 15 before traveling to Seattle to face the Huskies.

 

Washington lost 4-1 to Utah in Salt Lake City in 2023.
