Huskies Earn ITA and Pac-12 Academic Awards

SEATTLE – The Husky women’s tennis team, owners of the highest GPA of any UW team during the spring quarter, collected a big haul of academic honors in recent days, with the ITA All-Academic awards and Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll being announced.

The Huskies averaged a 3.80 GPA in the spring quarter to lead the athletic department.

The ITA honors go to both teams and individuals. The women earned the team honor overall, which requires a 3.2 GPA for the current academic year.

Individual ITA awards are earned for a 3.5 GPA for the most recent academic year specifically.

For the Pac-12 honor, any student-athlete with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3-or-above, and who has served at least one year in residence at the institution, is eligible for the distinction.
