For the first time since 2007, two teenagers occupy the ATP’s Top-10.
Holger Rune, who made his Top-20 debut last week after his trip to the final at Basel, rises eight spots in this week’s ATP rankings as a result of his maiden Masters 1000 title, where he defeated Novak Djokovic in a thrilling final, 3-6, 6-3, 7-5.
Rune was a personal wrecking ball for the Top-10 last week in Paris, winning five consecutive matches against players in the elite group to become the first player in history to achieve the feat outside of the ATP Finals.
The Dane joins World No.1 Carlos Alcaraz inside the Top-10, which means that the ATP has a pair of teens claiming more than one spot in the ATP’s Top-10 for the first time since Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray in May of 2007.
Rune is the first Danish man to rank inside the Top-10 in ATP history (since 1973).

Making Rune’s rise even more remarkable is the fact that he was ranked at 103 when the season started.
The Dane isn’t the only player cracking a new career-high ranking inside the Top-10. Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime rises another two spots to No.6 in the world on the strength of the 16-match winning streak that took him to titles in Florence, Antwerp and Basel, as well as a semifinal at Paris last weekend.
Auger-Aliassime, 56-25 on the season with four titles, started his campaign at No.11 in the rankings.

Also moving higher inside the Top-10 is Stefanos Tsitsipas. The Greek still entertains longshot hopes of reaching No.1 by the end of the season. For now he has risen two spots from No.5 to match his career-high at No.3.
Tsitsipas leads the ATP in victories with 60 on the season, against 22 losses. The 24-year-old reached the semifinals in Paris before losing to Djokovic in a third-set tiebreak.
Other risers in the Top-100 include Corentin Moutet, who rises 13 spots to No.51 after reaching the round of 16 in Paris. Moutet, who reached the round of 16 at the US Open as a lucky loser, has risen from 112 to 51 since the week before his appearance at Flushing Meadows.
