How did you first get involved in tennis?
Once my parents and I were walking in our “town park” and we saw children practicing tennis on a small court with a tennis wall. I watched them for a while and enjoyed them. I told my parents that I would like to join them so they signed me up with the coach and I started playing. I was about 7 years old when I started.
What has been the best advice a coach has given you?
The best advice the coach gave me was to set my goals and stick to them.
Who do you model your game after?
I do not exactly model my game with other tennis players, but my biggest role model was always Serena Williams. I love her game and have always wanted to play like her.
What has been the biggest adjustment coming from the Czech Republic?
The biggest adjustments were leaving my family, the language barrier, and getting used to a new culture.
Where is the best place you’ve gotten to travel to for tennis?
The best place I’ve gotten to travel for tennis was Egypt, but VT is the best place to play.
