BERKELEY, Calif. – The Washington women’s tennis team opened up the ITA Northwest Regional Championships Friday in the qualifying round in Berkeley.
Catherine Gagnon gave up just six total games in her opening two singles matches, defeating Sac State and Washington State opponents early Friday.
She along with doubles partner Zehra Suko took an 8-2 win in the Huskies’ only doubles competition of day one.
