The Gators men’s tennis program earned ITA All-Academic Team honors for the fifth consecutive year and sixth all-time.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. – The Florida men’s tennis program was honored by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association on Monday as an ITA All-Academic Team for the fifth consecutive year and sixth all-time, while Nate Bonetto and Lukas Greif were named ITA Scholar Athletes.
The award marks the fourth straight year Greif (2020-23) has earned the honor and the second in as many years for Bonetto. Both Bonetto and Greif were also named to the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll in June.
To be named an ITA Scholar-Athlete, student-athletes must have a grade point average of at least 3.5 (on a 4.00 scale) for the current academic year and be listed on the institutional eligibility form.
To make the ITA All-Academic Team, programs must have a team grade point average of 3.2 or above (on a 4.00 scale), all student-athletes included should be listed on the institutional eligibility form and all varsity letter winners should be factored into the cumulative team GPA for the current academic year.
